Welcome to Oak Harbor Fire Department.

Our department serves the City of Oak Harbor located on Whidbey Island in Island County, Washington State. We protect the 9.14 square mile City (including several miles of shoreline) and an estimated population of 21,444 (2005).

We are a combination fire department with one station staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by career and paid-on-call firefighters. In 2005 we responded to nearly 1,376 emergency incidents. Station 81 houses four fire engines, one ladder truck, one Aid Unit, and various support vehicles.
